Transportation Department staff members placed the focus on school bus safety as part of School Bus Safety Week activities. Staff members worked closely with law enforcement officials, including our very own school district police, the Cameron County Constables Office, Department of Safety Troopers and the Los Indios Police. Elementary students learned lessons on school bus safety, behavior and responsibility, bully free zone, driver responsibility, student responsibility, emergency evacuation and school bus danger zone.
