District parent and volunteer centers slated to open September 10

This Summer, the FACE Department relocated their central operations to the newly transformed Landrum Educational Complex, located at 450 S. Dowling Street in San Benito.

According to FACE district coordinator Luis D. Gonzales, Jr., the new location will house the department offices, the district attendance officers, and the community partnerships with the Brownsville ISD Adult Education – English as a Second Language (ESL) and the University of Texas Health Science Center “Tu Salud Si Cuenta” Diabetes Program.

“We are excited about our department’s new location. We have adapted to our new space and look forward to continuing to provide the best customer services at the Landrum Educational Complex,” said Gonzales.

“The complex will have a meeting center that will be utilized for large districtwide parent events. The space will be shared with the Gateway to Graduation Academy, Joe Callandret Positive Redirection Center, and five other departments housed at the complex.” he added.
