Approved Salary Increases

During its June meeting, the San Benito CISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025-2026 Employee Compensation Plan. This plan incorporates the latest Texas HB 2 guidelines for district teachers and provides pay increases for non-teaching professionals and hourly staff.
 
First-year teachers will now receive a base salary of $55,000 annually.
 
Teachers within their first four years (1-4) will get a $2,500 annual salary increase, whereas those with five or more years of experience will receive a $5,000 raise.
 
Non-teaching professionals will receive a 2% raise based on the midpoint, and hourly employees will also receive a 3% increase from the midpoint.
 
Additionally, librarians and Registered Nurses (RNs) will receive a $1,200 raise.
 
San Benito CISD values the hard work of the Finance and Human Resources Departments in developing the compensation plan and thanks the Board of Trustees for their approval.
