Divestment Statute List

The Comptroller provides the following lists pursuant to Texas Govt. Code Chap. 808 (HB89), Chap. 2252 (SB252), and Chap. 2270 (SB253).

• Companies that boycott Israel (PDF) — Section 808.051(c)
  Texas agencies are forbidden by law from conducting business with companies on this list. State Governmental Entities listed in Section 808.001 (6) have divestment requirements related to any investments in these companies.
• Designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations (PDF) — Section 2270.0153
• (Pending) Scrutinized companies that do business in Iran or Sudan or with Designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations Sections 2270.0201, 2252.151 and 2252.153. Texas agencies are forbidden by law from conducting business with companies on this list and Investing Entities listed in Govt. Code 2270.001 (7) have divestment requirements related to any investments in these companies.
