DESCRIPTION: Request for a Banking Corporation to serve as depository for the purpose of assisting with the banking functions for all funds of the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District

Pursuant to existing provisions of Chapter 45, Subchapter G, School District Depositories, Texas Education Code, it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the District to select a Depository through soliciting bids for Depository services contract.
The legal provisions providing for the naming of a Depository of the District are set forth in Subchapter G, School District Depositories, Sections 45.201 through 45.209, of the Texas Education Code. Investments by the District will be governed by the Government Code, Chapter 2256, Public Funds Investment. Securities pledged as collateral to secure District deposits will be governed by the Government Code, Chapter 2257, Collateral for Public Funds.
San Benito Consolidated Independent School District (SBCISD) is interested in purchasing the above items. Sealed bid proposals will be received at the office of Mrs. Vicki Perez Assistant Superintendent of Finance & Operations, 240 North Crockett Street, San Benito TX 78586, where they will be opened.
