Assessment Department

The Assessment Department in SBCISD supports campuses and other departments across the district by providing training, support, and data from our local and state’s student assessment program, including the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) and the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS).

The department also provides guidance and resources to help school administrators, teachers, parents, and the general public understand the state’s accountability information.
