The mission of the Texas public education system is to ensure that all Texas children have access to a quality education that enables them to achieve their
full potential and fully participate now and in the future in the social, economic, and educational opportunities in our state and nation.
Instructional Materials Policy The San Benito CISD provides a wide range of instructional resources for students and faculty that present varying levels of difficulty, diversity of appeal, and a variety of points of view. Although trained professional staff are afforded the freedom to select instructional resources for their use in accordance with this policy and the state-mandated curriculum, the ultimate authority for determining and approving the curriculum and instructional program of the District lies with the Board of Trustees.
