San Benito CISD offers progressive, innovative courses and programs, academic challenging coursework, an interesting and diverse array of extra-curricular activities, and state-of-the-art technology to a student population of over 11,000.
 
We realize that it takes a team of dedicated individuals to ensure both the academic and personal success of our students.  Approximately 1,700 employees are committed to empowering our students to achieve academic excellence.  Our students possess a desire to become lifelong learners.
 
We have been working diligently to build and gain the community’s trust and support.  This is evidenced by the successful passage of three bond elections: 1997, 1999 and 2004.  These voter-approved bond elections have enabled us to provide modern facilities for our students and staff members.
 
We strongly believe that our students are being prepared to meet the challenges of the future.
