Speech therapy
he speech therapist serves children that have language delays, articulation disorders, stuttering problems, or voice disorders that affect their academic performance. The children are served twice weekly for 30 minutes.

Dyslexia
Expressways to Reading is used by the Dyslexia teacher because it teaches reading neurologically. It embeds in permanent memory the fundamental phonemes, the sound-building blocks of the English language. It then exercises and integrates the accumulating memory base so that the learner can apply it to developing comprehension skills through words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs.

Learning Disabled
The learning Disabled Resource Program is a pull-out program in which the students are taught in Reading, Language Arts, and Math according to their Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P), as prescribed by the A.R.D. Committee. The L.D. teacher instructs the students with emphasis on the skills stated in the students' I.E.P.'s.

Parent Volunteer Center
The Parent Volunteer Center provides a place where two parent educators meet with parent volunteers to provide assistance to all teachers in preparing games, activities, and materials in order to carry out their instructional duties. During the entire week, however, some parents volunteer their time in the library and assist teachers by working with small groups of children. A computer with the Accelerated Reader software is available to our parents to promote literacy.

Sharon Wells Math
Teachers receive continuous training with the Sharon Wells Math Curriculum each six weeks in Grades 2-5. They implement this spiraling process with the use of manipulatives.

Environmental Projects

Native plants are used extensively to accomplish this goal. Students develop a good sense of responsibility, an awareness of nature, and ethically good practices.

Student Council
Student in Grades 3-5 will participate as representatives from their respective classes and grades. They will demonstrate good citizenship and leadership skills as they participate in special projects for the campus and charitable groups.
