Trustees take Oath
Rodriguez takes Oath of Office
San Benito CISD Trustee (Place 3) Yliana G. Rodriguez was re-elected to serve a second term in office. Rogelio “Roy” Valdez, Chief Justice of the Texas 13th Court of Appeals and Rodriguez’ uncle, administers the Oath of Office during a Special Board Meeting held on Tuesday, May 22, at the San Benito High School Band Hall. During the meeting, Rodriguez was selected to serve as the board’s president for the second time, while newly-elected trustee Anna Cruz was elected to serve as the board’s vice-president; June Aguilera will remain as the board’s secretary.

At the meeting, Cruz was selected by her fellow trustees to serve as the board’s vice-president. This marks the first time in office for Cruz.
